Held on Sunday 8th October. Over 70 Guests, whose Fathers had served during World War 1 were given afternoon tea, prepared by the Mt RSA Women’s Section.
The event was an initiative of the WW100 Tauranga Committee, and was kindly sponsored by the Mt RSA. Peter Moss welcomed the Guests on behalf of WW100 Tauranga, Vice President Barry Kellas welcomed everyone on behalf of the Mt RSA. Many of those attending brought some really interesting memorabilia.
A lovely afternoon was had by all despite the weather. Their Fathers had served in Gallipoli, the Western Front and Palestine, some wonderful stories were told.
